With the opening of the Greens Prairie Elementary school scheduled for August 2011 and the new College Station High School scheduled to open the following year, College Station Independent School District will be hosting a community members forum on Monday March 8th at noon at the districts administration building on Welsh Avenue, in order to hear comments from the community regarding the rezoning of the College Station school district.
Another forum is scheduled to occur on March 11th at 5:30pm at the High School Auditorium.
The CSISD rezoning committee will present their evaluations and recommendations for rezoning to the CSISD school board in the fall of 2010.
It is highly advisable that members of the College Station Community attend at least one of these forums in order to voice their opinions if they have any questions or concerns about the new school zones.

The attendance zones determine what geographical area each school covers. If you have children attending school in College Station, particularly an elementary school or high school than the new attendance zones may effect you.
