Hi Kathy ~ Their positions in the search engines boggle my mind. I've never been a fan really because the amateur version doesn't cut it for me - I prefer the real thing as an information resource. But I'll admit to checking it out more than once since it pops up so often in searches. Funny - somebody linked from it to one of my posts and it pulls in a lot of traffic.

I've been known to write articles and edit facts on Wikipedia. Oh, I know it is amateur, but it is sort of like Pandora Radio....a compilation of knowledge and taste. I detest inaccuracy. And, when I check something out and it is out of left field, I try to correct it. And, even one or two of my articles have had additions which I gladly welcome. Esoteric is my forte. If someone else finds it interesting, go for it. Great post.
