Waterville Valley Resort and the WVBBTS Ski Club will be the focus of the alpine ski world this month with the NorAm Cup Finals being held March 16-18 and the J4 Future Stars from March 21-23.
There will be some incredible ski racing happening at Waterville Valley and you can be part of it!

WVBBTS Ski Club is looking to fill a number of key volunteer positions to help at both championship events. The club welcomes anyone with race or volunteer experience and a passion for New Hampshire and alpine ski racing to sign-up.
Volunteers will be utilized in every aspect of the event. The greatest need is for gatekeepers, who will be on the mountain from approximately 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. on competition days. No experience is necessary other than attentiveness and appropriate clothing! Gatekeepers will be shown a short instructional video. Gatekeeper positions on the race course can be accessed by snowshoe for the lower gates or by skis for the upper gates. Course workers are also needed from approximately 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on competition days. A course worker must be a strong skier and capable of carrying gates, slipping courses to remove extra snow and smooth it out, replacing gates, etc.
There are some off-snow volunteer jobs, including writing down scores on the scoreboard, announcing, hand timing, organizing racers at the start, and helping on inside special events like the J4 Future Stars check-in pizza party, registration booth, and setting up the awards area at the ski area.
Volunteers will receive an incentive for their assistance. Call for details!
Anyone wishing to volunteer should call WVBBTS as soon as possible at 603-236-4246 ext. 113, or email canderson@wvbbts.org. Learn more about WVBBTS or any of the championship series online at wvbbts.org.
