Motivational Power Quote

Admit Your Mistakes and Move On

"More people would learn from their mistakes

if they weren't so busy denying them."

Harold J. Smith, politician

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Admit your mistakes and move on

We all make mistakes put them in the past use them as learning experiences and move on.

Don't dwell on the mistakes of the past focus on the future and what can be.

Once you admit a mistake your able to let go of them and move on.

Lou, good advice!  Obsessing over something isn't positive, that's for sure.

Great quote Lou. I remember one that went something like this, those who dwell in their past rob their future. Need to let it go. Thanks for sharing.

Good advice...and coming from a politician. The first step to righting a ship is to admit responsibility.

Great advice..especially in this day and age..seems a lot of people dont' want to admit they are/were wrong...that drives me crazy...I can accept that you made a mistake...i can't accept that you want me to take the responsibility for it.I have enough stuff to take blame for  without taking on yours!!!

Lou, Interesting quote.  I like it.  We learn from our mistakes, and without them, we would have no reason to change any of the things that we are doing.  Mistakes help us grow and adapt.

I agree, very few people learn from both good and bad experience, but when we learn from the bad we improve our lives.
