Open HouseThere is a great debate in the Real Estate community over this question, but yesterday, we were not debating it, but enjoying it!

REALTOR.com wanted to document a veteran agent who is masterful in her marketing and who knows how to attract a crowd. Margaret Rome, one of the Queens of Active Rain, held 2 Open Houses on Sunday and Monday, in order to show them how its done. Folks came from far and wide to support Margaret and broaden the base of information REALTOR.com was able to gather.

The farm house style structure was built in 1901 and Spring Hill Roadhas an eclectic charm about it. Congratulations to those of you who have this picture placement thing down, as I am getting very frustrated and will soon have to explore the AR tuturials to learn how to improve my skills.

Nonetheless, this was a GGRREAT day for Maryland Real Estate, a GGRREAT day for fellow GBBR members and a fitting tribute to a GGRREAT Lady of Real Estate.

Margaret is a person who gives without thought of what she will give in return and thus is greatly blessed!

What a great way to share knowledge.  Now is the time to run open houses, and she surely knows how to conduct one.

Built in 1901!! It just goes to show that a home taken care of will LAST!!  So glad that you all had fun at Margaret's open house(es)!!  PS Your picture looks great...and we all had to learn!! I usually center mine with the toolbar at the top (6th button from the left)...but yours looks fine left justified!! :)

Thank you for sharing your experience and the fact that the open house was everything it was suppose to be.

Hi Sonja, No need to get rid of something just because it is old! I so love established dwellings ; ) I got a little better with the photos as I went along. I guess I am just a little impatient.

Thanks Tim, BTW, did you attend Family Reunion in NOLA this year? I have already been able to send out 4 referrals after meeting terrific people who I believe will also give GGRREAT service.
