Rita, I wish I lived closer! I would go to that class!  I am trying to get my husband to build some growing boxes up off the ground in hopes the bugs will be fewer!

This sounds like fun. If only the trees didn't shade my property, then we could have a garden!

I love fresh salad Rita. That looks like a good venue to 'learn how' to grow your own.

Rita, ah what a great event, I want to start a garden this year...but there are so many, many deer we just have a time keeping them out of the yard....they have been known to come right on the back patio and eat my flowers.

Hi Rita, I wish we could grow greens like ya'll back east.  It's too hot in the summer and freezes often at night in the winter!

Hi Rita, being a vegetarian this would be right up my alley! I've grown tomatoes, peppers and such but never tried the salad greens so maybe this year I'll give it a go!

Hi Evelyn,

The boxes may help with the bugs!  Good luck with your box garden!  Have a great week!

Hi Betsy,

You live nearby!!  That's great! Many of our waterfront & second home clients are from DC and surrounding area.  I'll have to keep you in mind for buyers & sellers that need assistance in DC.  Do you also work in VA?  Too bad you have a lot of shade in your yard!  Gardening is really enjoyable.  Thanks for visiting & taking the time to comment!  Hope you have a wonderful week!

Rita
