Fast food order mistakes - I've figured out the formula!!!

Fast Food Order Mistakes

If you are like most Americans, I bet you've gone to a drive thru and had your fair share of fast food order mistakes. I also bet you didn't know their was a formula for this. Yep, I FIGURED IT OUT!

Sometimes they give you an extra french fry. Sometimes your taco is beef instead of chicken, sometimes the soda has no syrup, maybe you got a fork instead of chopsticks, or perhaps you just simply have no napkins! Fast food order mistakes happen every day to good people. It's a sad reality that we all deal with and it's at an epidemic level.

So after many years of testing (and many more to come, health willing). I have determined that the chance of a fast food order mistake is a simply formula based on how many items you order on the menu. Here is is...

  • 1 item ordered = 10% chance of a fast food order mistake
  • 2 items ordered = 20% chance of a fast food order mistake
  • 3 items ordered = 30% chance of a fast food order mistake
  • 4 items ordered = 40% chance of a fast food order mistake
  • 5 items ordered = 50% chance of a fast food order mistake
  • 6 items ordered = 60% chance of a fast food order mistake
  • 7 items ordered = 70% chance of a fast food order mistake
  • 8 items ordered = 80% chance of a fast food order mistake
  • 9 items ordered = 90% chance of a fast food order mistake
  • 10+ items ordered = GUARANTEED 100% chance of a fast food order mistake

Fast food order mistakesIt's really that simple. The only variable to this is if you order something custom such as "no pickle" or "light on the ice" or "super size my Mcgroovy mc sandwhich and put some tomato on the siz-ide with shreded liz-ettice and extra niz-apkins fo shizzle." In such a case as this, simply double your chance of a mistake. Yeah that's right math wizzes, 200% for 10 custom items! That's TWO mistakes! Figure THAT one out Alex Trebek!

Now back to my frosty before it melts.....mmmmmm

Insightful! I'm starting to believe the the chances of a mistake are always 100%. Try ordering the fish sandwich with ketchup only... no cheese, no tarter sauce. I think it must be the impossible to get right order.

If it's not a "vanilla" order, they usually get it wrong. I've gotten a hamburger before with no hamburger!

Well that would be 10% for 1 item times two for ketchup only which makes 20%, times two for no cheese which makes 40%, times two for no tarter sauce which makes 80%...so 80%. Did you get tater tots with that?   =P

LOL Joseph! NICE!

Perhaps we should bring up this issue to NAR and the MLS! Such a vital operation of our business should be handled with more care!   =)
