Debra - I can never get enough of the moose pictures that you and Gerry of Red Lodge Montana post!  They are so amazing to me!

You guys get the big ones just like we do here in the SF Bay Area. I have a cousin in Anchorage and a cousin who used to live in Nome so I've seen lots of those moose pictures. I would just LOVE to get up there sometime - just beautiful.

Yes, it would really stink to have a big one in the dead of winter. It's very scary to me how there have been so many big ones around the world - like the earth is shifting around everywhere and sooner or later this plate is gonna go too. I am sitting on a fault (the Hayward Fault) in the East Bay that is predicted as the next one to really rip so I've got my disaster kit right ouside my kitchen garage door. Stay safe!

Yes we get the big ones... Good Friday 1964  the 9.2 is how it was measured they say now it was probably over a 10.... shook the whole state and then some... I hope it doesnt happen again...I am always a little nervous towards Good Friday... history repeating itself and all... and it would be horrible to have the big one and the extreme snow and cold we have right now... they have 10 ft drifts in town... yikes... thanks to everyone for visiting my site and the moose!

Hi Debra, Great photos of all the Moose. These seemed to have longer hair than some I seen. And great advise on being prepared for the earthquakes. Living in Southern CA., we too must be prepared. And I fear most are not.
