Masters Week At Lake Oconee
April 5th is the beginning of Masters week at Augusta National Golf Course, which always brings lots of visitors to Lake Oconee staying at the Ritz-Carlton Lodge on Lake Oconee, or in other nearby hotels or rental homes. Usually, this coincides with the pollen season and the beautiful trees and plants, such as red buds & dogwoods and azaleas, to begin blooming. It's a great time to stop by the Lake Oconee area for golfing at our many golf courses, boating, swimming, croquet, and relaxing just looking at the lake. It's a very relaxed atmosphere here in Georgia within an hour and a half from Atlanta, the Atlanta airport, Augusta, and within 1 hour of the University of Georgia in Athens.
