Hi Marianne, Who could not love Buffalo Bill. I used to love to watch the Annie Oakley series when I was a kid, she was a great find for Bill and his Wild West Show.

Did you know he didn't WANT to be buried in Colorado?  His choice was Cody, Wyoming, but his wife chose Lookout Mtn. after his death in Denver.  As with all "wild west" types he had some good points and some bad.  After killing all those buffalo, he became quite the conservationist, and a proponent of hunting seasons...I LOVE Colorado history, can you tell? =o)

Hi Jim: I do love history. I think it's facinating. And Buffalo Bill is burried here in Colorado, on Lookout Mountain, overlooking the city of Denver. Come visit us sometime!

Hey Mike: Thanks for stopping by. I thought it was a striking pose, too.

Hi Marchel: It is amazing all the history Colorado has, and lately with all that's in the news, I'm surprised that Colorado is still making history.

Hi Mary: I loved that show. Annie Oakley is still my hero! LOL.

Hi Cheryl: I did know that he didn't want to be burried here...but, I didn't know he became a conservationist. I just love history. I need to share with you this fun, semi-historical book I'm reading now.

Hi Adam: Thanks for stopping by. I'll need to follow your blog!
