Beautiful, isn't it. Sunset Harbour, an established N Myrtle Beach community is right up the road. It is directly on the waterway with a pool, clubhouse, and quiet; however, it is a little more expensive than these homes were sold by the builders. How great it is to walk directly out the back of the house to your own private pool, decks, and boat.
This is the view across the marina. You can easily call to someone across the way and be heard. If you can see the blue roof in the distance, that is where a major highway runs from Wilmington, NC almost to Charleston. Hooters was in that location as well as several other restaurants that are open until 12:00 at night...but that isn't the only issue.
This is the biggest problem. It passes as a restaurant but it is one of the biggest summer singles club in the N Myrtle Beach area and it rocks. It has outdoor and indoor bars and takes up the entire corner of the marina. It has changed tenants several times. Land has been cleared across the street for additional parking and a jet ski rental company operates out of one corner. The parking lot actually connect to another "Happy Hour" outdoor club which has closed this past year and is sinking into a shabby eyesore.
Do you get the picture? You may love to be in the middle of the action; however, are you going to love all that music, cars pulling in and out, and the loud voices until 2 in the morning...that doesn't even included the houseboats that are docked there in the summer. It is a party area. As I said before, What were they thinking? Was it just price? Maybe they are reclusive by nature and they wanted a change; however, they had better love those houses because the market changed here the same way they have changed everywhere.
