when you think about really great Chinese food, what comes to mind? A pleasing and clean atmosphere. Friendly waitstaff. Fresh ingredients. Variety. Good portions. Reasonable price. Check off your list because you found it!
Oriental Garden Chinese restaurant is located a 4132 Atlanta Highway, Suite 111, Loganville, Georgia. If you are familiar with Loganville at all you will probably know the spot because it's fairly popular - people mention it to me all the time and when my husband and I dine in there we almost always run into someone that we know.
The restaurant is located in a strip center facing on Highway 78, sitting in front of the post office, and across from the Home Depot store.
The restaurant is small but I kind of like that about it - not alot of noise and clinking dishes. The service is always great, the food arrives quickly, just an overall pleasing experience. Most of the entrees on the lunch menu are $5.80. You get a platter of food and rice on the side. Dinner prices are slightly higher but still very reasonable.
Takeout is a fantastic option also. My husband and I are big fans of their pork fried rice. We order one meal and a couple of egg rolls and it is always more than we can eat. Leftovers are great.
Give Oriental Garden a try. There are chinese restaurants all over but I rarely feel that I am getting fresh ingredients and always feel like they use too much MSG. I have never asked Oriental Gardens about their MSG content because I have never been bothered by it or felt it was an issue. However, their menu indicates "no MSG by request" so feel free to ask.
