Hi Julie and welcome to AR!! There is sooo much good and useful information here. At times you may feel overwhelmed. You are not alone. Just know.....NO question is too stupid!!! Everyone here is more than willing to help and share ideas. You will meet some great and knowledgeable people!!! Spend a few days reading. Make a few comments! Then start writing!! Write about community events like parades or carnivals that may be going on in the area. Make sure you post them to localism!! This is where the public will see you. This can be very addicting to a lot of people!! We are so addicted! Good luck and have fun playing in the RAIN!!

I am new too, and found just a couple of weeks (on the same day) updating the weeks mls activity, got me a phone call and a listing appointment.  The more you write, the more you are seen as the expert in your area. good luck. (to you, and me)

You are in a good place and in good company.  There is so much to learn here and people are so very willing to help.  Do not hesitate to ask questions, there are no dumb questions here.  Welcome.

Julie, I agree with Cynthia as far as there are no dumb questions here. Most member of AR are skillful and willing to share information. Read and comment as often as possible. I try to spend about 30 minutes a day. If your ever coming to New Orleans give me a call. Good Luck and enjoy the AR.

The best advice I can give to any new Member is to read - a lot - and just start writing.

You need to write what you feel - don't just try to write what you think people want to hear.  Be you and you'll be fine.
