This coming Monday the Laguna Beach Historical Society is hosting a program focusing on the historical archtecture of Laguna Beach, focusing on the 60s and 70s when several notable architects placed their imprint on the city.
Laguna Beach has always been a center for artists in Southern California, and for architects such as Lamont Langworthy, Chris Abel, and Fred Briggs, their innovative building designs were no different. The seminar given by the Historical Society is focuses on these architects, among others, and to give a better understanding of their impact on the development of the architecture of Southern California.
For those interested, the program is located at Laguna Beach City Hall Council Chambers and is set to begin at 730pm on Monday the 15th and will last about two hours. If this kind of thing interests you, check it out, admission is free!
