SHORT & SIMPLE SHORT SALE TIPS - CHECK YOUR SPELLING

By
Real Estate Agent with Coastal Real Estate - Cape Coral FL SL3150658

SHORT & SIMPLE SHORT SALE TIPS - Here is yet another one of my SHORT & SIMPLE SHORT SALE TIPS - This one I just learned today.  ALWAYS check your spelling - I just had a file kicked back that is ready to have the bank approval issued because the sellers name was spelled wrong on one of the forms.  The seller has an unusual name and no-one (seller, buyer, sellers agent (myself) or buyers agent) caught the small error but the bank did.  We will still get approval but it's just more paperwork and time for an error that shouldn't have happened.

Got to love the banks and the excuses they manage to come up with not to approve a short sale.

Hopefully, not an excuse to put your file on the bottom of the stack and ignore you for 3 weeks.

Update...Great News!  My file didn't get kicked to the bottom of the stack...we got the correction to the bank yesterday and received written approval to close at the end of the business day!
