Rolling Meadows, Lake Orion Michigan is a sub in southern Orion Township with easy access to I-75, parks, shopping, etc. Rolling Meadows is a Pulte sub built in the mid 90's and homes ranging in size from approximately 2000 sq. ft. to approximately 2800 sq. ft.
Rolling Meadows has always been a desirable neighborhood with sidewalks, city water and sewer, subdivision tennis courts and swimming pool as well as a community club house.
As with most of Southeast Michigan, houses in Rolling Meadows are seriously on sale. In 2009, 16 homes sold ranging in price from $153,000 to $247,000. When compared to 2004 when 11 homes sold ranging from $295,000-$368,000.
The good news is that only one of the sales last year was a foreclosure, and only two were short sales. The bad news is that the most expensive house to sell in 2009 was still less than the least expensive home 5 years ago. Many selling for less than they sold for originally in the mid to late 90's.
