Reblogger Sybil Campbell

I have been wondering if I need to move away from a traditional static website.  Facebook is so popular that it might be what I need!  What do you think?  Debe seems very happy with her new Facebook business page.

Okay, So I Just HAD to Have One--A Personalized, BRANDED Facebook Page!

I always try to FAN my friends' business pages on Facebook--peer support is so important in our market and those who 'fan' me always put a smile on my face so, I like to pay it back!

So, last week, I was zipping through my emails and received a friend (fan) request from a fellow ActiveRain member, Dez Daniels, with whom I had not connected on her business page.  So, I set out to 'fan' her!  Here's what I saw:

Absolutely gorgeous and interactive at that!  I then found George Tallabas' new site and just had to write them to find out the HOW TO of personalizing MY own Facebook business page!  Dez quickly referred me to our own Mary McKnight of Sacrilicious Marketing.  When I got a moment to phone Mary, I found out that she has SO much to offer those in business in the way of branding and SEO and she is incredibly affordable!

Mary specializes in branding and focusing on generating traffic to your site--your optimized Facebook landing page can also include an IDX interactive feed for a small additional charge!  The possibilities are endless and I encourage you to check out her website to see what she can do for you too--she's really QUITE talented!  Mary knows our industry and knows what you need to do to generate that SEO and improve your social networking skills.  Read her blogs about that too--her degree in sociology from Harvard has definitely been put to use in the new 'social media' rhelm--and we can all benefit from her knowledge.

But, back to the point of my post--if you want a mac-daddy Facebook landing page that is sure to WOW your friends and your consumers, then call or email Mary and put her to work for YOU!  She is incredibly talented, quite reasonably priced, wonderful to work with and has an unbelievable turn-around time!  You'll be glad you did!

Now, go check out my new Facebook page -- OH, and while you're there admiring Mary's work, FAN me if you haven't already!

Thank you Mary McKnight of SacriliciousMarketing.comAnd here are a few of the other agents' sites that I've seen that Mary glamorized also!

Rob Muller, Atlanta
George Tallabas, Idaho
Nicki Conway,  Sarasota

I always wonder if this pays off, how would one truly know. I see this fantastic stuff and fluff but no business from it, IMHO

You should use all social marketing to your benefit.  I would suggest creating a seperate facebook/myspace/twitter/et. al. accounts for all of these sites.  AND have your own personal website where you post your deals or other phenomenal deals to your own personal network.  This also enhances your SEO so when people are doing searches in your area they can find you easier and thus more buyers/sellers.  SO YES use those sites to your advantage.

And don't forget about using Google Analytics on your site so you know how people are finding you.

Joan, this was a repost of Deb's orginal blog.

Bob & Carol - I intend to check it out when I get the time, whenever that might be!

Joyce - I have not had the tremendous results that some agents have, but I can trace several closings either directly or indirectly to my website(s).  I think that the static websites are going to be a thing of the past soon!

Kevin - Thanks for the encouragement.

Richard - I will be jumping in soon also.  I will need a life jacket at first, I'm sure!

Sybil!  You'll be fine--even without the life vest!  Thanks for the re-blog and I do hope that you're jumping in with both feet from the FB page!  My web leads have tripled since I did this and I guess it's from the links back to my site; I think FB ranks pretty high in the search engines so, using her SEO magic and putting the links to work, it's rocking finally!

Thanks again for the re-blog!
