We are in sales and wan to have as many clients as possible, but need to remember not every prospect is a good client. Referring a client to another agent can be a win-win for you and the client and the amazing thing can be the right thing to do!

Reasons to refer a client to another agent:

  • Buyer or Seller looking to do business outside of your area
  • The deal requires an agent with more time or experience (Short Sale/Foreclosure)
  • Conflict of interest family member, co-worker etc.
  • Avoid dual agency

When it comes to referring remember it is a reflection on you and you want to make sure you feel confident that the other agent will do a good job.
