Do Posting Your Listings on AR Help to Sell it?

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Greenville Central

Is it me or does anyone else love AR because of the vast information and networking. But since I live in the south, I don't really feel a particular pang of love toward those listings from say, Sheboygan WI or Santa Fe, NM. I'd love to hear your feedback on why we do post our listings on AR. Is it for higher Google placement? Do they really draw buyers to your homes? I haven't done it yet but want to give my listings maximum exposure and feel that we do with the plethora of other sites for listing purposes only.

While I love to come here and learn vast amounts of knowledge from those in the industry longer than me, and I admit openly that I"m not a true "techie", I really want to understand the value of posting listings on AR.

Anyone? Bueller.....Bueller.....anyone???

Thx

Hi Holly, yes I do post my listings on Active Rain MLS and post it to Localism.  I link the post to my Visual Tour which provides a report that shows the referring source.  Consumers ARE viewing the Tour through Active Rain.  Additionally, since AR has such high Google Juice, the AR listing often shows up sooner and higher in ranking than the property address associated with the Tour.
