Thanks for showing-now where's the FEEDBACK!!!!!!

Miss manners I'm not and PC definitely not, but there is one thing that gets my goat on a regular basis in this industry.

I don't believe it's a particular brokerage although some from specic firms are worse than others. I'm just venting a little here but I think it's integral to our business and professional appearance to give feedback after a showing.

We're all very busy people. The last thing we need to do is track an agent down only to remind them of the style, color, street..whatever..of the listing they showed!

Feedback is key to providing our sellers the information on what they can change if needed regarding their home be it price or condition. It only take a few seconds to do so what is the big problem??

Agents everywhere beware the wrath filled phone call of the pursuing selling agent and just do us all a favor!

PLEASE just give us some flippin FEEDBACK!

Holly,

I agree that feedback should be given, even beyond just being a courtesy, but as a matter of course.

Although, it should be understood that if the potential Buyer has an interest in the property, then the level of feedback may be tapered to account for negotiating purposes.

It's very hard to get feedback from some agents !!!!!!!!!! You almost have to bypass their caller ID (*L*)

Hi Holly ~ There's a big divide on this issue. I'm actually on the other side. I just wrote a loooooong comment and deleted it - I'll save it for a blog. Suffice to say I think feedback is way over rated, not workable in the world of buyer agency, and not ... ok I have to stifle myself here!

What gets me is after I talk with an agent directly and so they have my feedback - my email still gets littered with requests for feedback.  I've given it already.
