Support LOCAL Farmers and Ranchers this year at Farmers' Markets across the State!
Now, more than ever, it is so important to support your local farmers and ranchers. Join a CSA (community-supported agriculture), plan which markets you will attend, start your own garden! You can find some of our local food folks in the latest issues of That's Natural! at: www.ThatsNatural.info.
Pueblo's finest Evening Farmers' Market at the Sangre de Cristo Arts Center. We have the area's best LOCAL Produce, Fine Art, and Performing Artists. Starting July 15th and continuing EVERY THURSDAY EVENING from 5:00PM until 8:30PM through September 2nd, 2010 - with the Harvest Fest on Thursday, September 30th.
Local producers, including A Wren's Nest Farm (produce, eggs, pork), Medina Farms (hydroponic lettuce, herbs and peppers), and Hanagan Farms (various produce), will tantalize your taste-buds with the best local produce that you can buy!
Of course there will be many vendors there to get to know the community, that would likely include an appearance from one of more folks from The Land Company.
