Catch the New Wave in Real Estate

By
Real Estate Sales Representative with Keller Williams Preferred Properties

What is the new "wave" in real estate?  What may surprise you is that it's not so new.

Going GREEN is the answer.  Buyers, Sellers, and Builders alike want the latest information on how to become eco-friendly.

Get ahead of the curve by posting GREEN info on your website, blogs, and social networking sites.

Want to take it a step further?  Offer this Energy Savers Booklet as an added value service.

Some awesome resources to tap into are: HouseLogic brought to you by NAR, the U.S. DOE website, the ECO-Friendly Angel web blog for quick tips, the NAR Green designation, and the highly regarded Eco-Broker designation

Also, if you work in commercial real estate you may want to be well versed on the Energy Star program.  Most commercial building owners are working feverishly to increase their rating so that they can save money and receive tax credits.

Why go Green?  A major focus in politics is building a sustainable future.  We all know that real property is a major bulk of the economy and basically sets the trends in most other economies within our country.  When the housing market is up other markets are up.  When the housing market is down other markets are down.  That means building a sustainable future starts will building self sustaining structures.  Structures that use less of our natural resources.  That is the exact focus of Green real estate.

Being an expert on this subject sets you apart from the masses of agents that are focused on traditional real estate.

Good luck and I look forward to doing Green business with you!
