Bergen County, NJ Nor'easter 3/13/10
Bergen County, NJ recently experienced a terrible nor'easter that caused destruction & left many still without power. The storm started Friday, March 12, 2010 and reached it's peak on Saturday. Many other areas in New Jersey experienced flooding, power outages, property damage and even deaths related to this nor'easter. I had no electicity in Ridgewood, NJ from Saturday-Sunday night. My parents in Paramus are still without electricity. PSE&G is expecting it to possibly return on Thursday.
While I was out working (just like the mailmen), I took some pictures of the devastation the storm has caused:
This tree fell on a 2 car detached garage on Midland Avenue in Paramus, NJ.
This tree pulled down power lines and struck a car on Spring Valley Road in Oradell (Paramus is actually across the street)
A tree that was uprooted on Midland Ave in Paramus
Hoping power returns for everyone asap and that there are no more injuries or deaths.
