Jenny,

Interesting facts. And isn't it the wealthiest community in Canada?

From time to time some other spot will be #1, but I thought that the title usually goes to Oakville.

Jenny, I appreciate you giving us these stats about Oakville.  I was looking at some of your Flickr pics to get a clue about your recent mystery city and I loved the shots of the Oakville area and those two waterfalls.  ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL.  I also loved those icy shots of Lake Ontario!  If you haven't shared these before would it be possible to do so in the future?  I also loved your pictures of the cardinals!

Hi Jenny, your Oakville is a bit larger than the Oakville in our area, which is actually connected to Watertown, Ct. Congratulations on the 200,000 point milestone. It shows a lot of dedication and you did it by using your skills especially with the camera.

Jenny, I didn't know all those cool facts about Oakville. I never thought of it as a tourist destination before, I usually associated it with the Ford plant.

Hi Brian, you are right.  It has flip flopped back and forth as the wealthiest community but shh, I want people to think it is still affordable to live here lol.

Hi Bruce thanks for the kind words about my photos.  I will perhaps do a photo blog again soon.  I live a half hour from Hamilton Ontario and believe it or not there are 125 waterfalls of various sizes in that area.  Of course I'm only an hour away from Niagara Falls too but I don't like crowds lol.

Hi Ken, thanks for stopping by.  Now get back to Facebook lol.

Hi Debi - I think it is easier to sell real estate when you really like your community.  I love the fact that I can be at the lake in 10 minutes and just let all my troubles float away.  Well.....you know what I mean.

Hi Al and Ms. Peggy - And I thank you for the 2 reblogs that pushed me over the 200,000 edge.

Thanks Wanda - I'm enjoying the ride with you here lol.  Honestly when I first started I didn't even think 100,000 was attainable.  There is no way I can keep up with the Cunninghams though.  Darn over achievers.

Hi Jon - we actually lucked out this year with winter.  Not one school or business closure day here.  Florida wasn't so lucky this year but I'm sure it is warming up nicely now.  You have been a great support to me during my time here.

Thanks Steve - funny you should comment right after Jon.  I really appreciate the both of you for being big brothers to me at times here.

Hi Marc - good ol' highway 401 -  And as Wikipedia says:

Provincial Highway 401, also known by its official name of the Macdonald-Cartier Freeway and colloquially as The 401, is a freeway in the Canadian province of Ontario. It is the longest of the 400-Series highways, stretching 815.0 kilometres (506.4 mi) from Windsor to the Quebec border, the busiest highway in North America,[2] and one of the widest and busiest in the world.[3]

But you knew that right?

Hi Fred bring on the buyers and sellers lol.  You are right, that is a LOT of warm bodies.

Thanks Ed - I'm glad I got to know you.  I think I picked you up on Al and Peggy's posts lol.  You are AR's super contest and quiz winner.

Hi Malcolm, you are right, the Ford plant is a long time fixture here.  I think the 2 harbours here attract people plus our summer Jazz Festival and Midnight Madness.  And then there are all the soccer tournaments, etc.  Great restaurants also.  Jeez I sound like an ambassador lol.
