Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource Certification

Real Estate Broker/Owner with F.C.Tucker 1st Team Real Estate

Short Sales & Foreclosure Resource Certification Designation from the National Association of REALTORSAfter several years of experience in Listing and Selling Properties in Northwest Indiana Subject To Lenders Approval of Short Sale, Jeff Safrin, Real Estate Broker/Owner of F.C.Tucker 1st Team Real Estate completed the National Association Of REALTORS requirements for the SFR - Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource Certification Designation.

Every Short Sale is not the same - There are many possible scenario's that can occur during the complex process of short sale approval (lender's filing of foreclosure proceedings, bankruptcy court proceedings etc..).

1st hand experience in working through these difficult situations are not taught in the basics of NAR's class, but in the "school of hard knocks" called life experiences.

Our best  resource for helping you decide whether you choose us to represent you in the sale of your property which may be subject to your lenders approval of a short sale is the recommendation of our past clients or  attorneys who have worked with us during this specific type of real estate transaction.

And... in addition to Felix's question, did you learn anything you didn't already know and was the class outdated and was it taught by someone currently doing shortsales?

Congratulations to Jeff!  After getting my certification, I had some of the same questions for Jeff that Jeffrey Smith did about online class.  I know my personal feelings about the process and I am curious to know what Jeff POV was with all his experience in dealing with Short Sales.  Maybe you guys can tell us at the meeting tomorrow.

Jeff Congratulations  Ther are far too many untrained short sale "experts" that make the process a nightmare

Felix: I took the online class...said it was 3hrs completed it in 1hr

Jeffrey: Everything you said was right om - it was outdated - i already knew pretty much everything they were attempting to relay and in some cases I knew

Irene: Yes it is actually me replying LOL....Congrats to you as well. Kepp up the great !!

Karen: You are correct as soon as someone tells me they are "experts" - thats when things go wrong.

I also did this past week! I'm just waiting for SFR to confirm my application so I can start using the designation. $92.00 online is great and I agree that I knew most of the information, but consumers love the extra education and designations.
