I have a life long friend who 9 months ago was diagnosed with breast cancer. It is the highly aggressive kind and she was 31 when diagnosed. She is now 32 and as of last week was in complete remission. She has gone thru some serious chemo and medicine called the "red devil". She starts radiation either this week or next. She has a CaringBridge site and today she told us about the cute thing her 6 year olds teacher told her about a conversation that she had with him.
So cute...Bray just said, "My Mommy is getting her hair back cause she got cancer for free!" I said, "You mean she's cancer free!" and he smiled and said, "Oh, Yeah!"
Is that not adorable and really awesome news for a child to be able to utter. Thank you God for healing Courtney.
