My wife and I work the Pleasanton, CA area. We received a few comments on our last posting, i am so glad that there are Realtors like my wife and I who think that chasing the buck is not the right way to operate in this business...it is refreshing to know we are not alone...
Most important, it seems that people are reading these blogs and it might make a change on how we as Realtors go about our daily business. So I hope that through posts like these we might be able to turn around the perception of many people out there that Realtors are just out there to get the consumer...
We can make a difference on people lives and yes, we should get paid for our services, but let's not allow money to change the way we really are, the way we know we should behave...
The bulk of our business comes from Listings in the San francisco Bay Area, and we have always operated on the presumption that we are Listing agents with a Buyer agent's heart, why? because whenever we need to represent Buyers, numerous times we find ourselves working with ego driven Listing Agents that do not answer calls, do not return emails on time, and that push their offers before any other offer is presented...I am not saying that every Listing agent out there is like this, but boy we see a lot of them out there!
When do we become better than everyone else? We are not Rock Stars or anything of the sort, please remember we are here to provide a service, our job is to serve our community wherever that might be, for my wife and I this place is the San Francisco Bay area, Pleasanton California is what we call home.
Have a great day everybody,
Cesar & Adriana
