The staff at Equator does not set the minimum price. This recently happened to me on what I considered a reasonable offer and when I called Bank of America I found out the minimum price was based on a 2007 BPO.
The end result of the phone call was Bank of America ordered a new BPO and will adjust the price in Equator based on the updated BPO.
