"Do you have condo's in Anchorage, Alaska?"was an email I received from a person who was being transferred into Anchorage from a large city in California.

Anchorage Alaska Condominium PropertyOf course we have condos in Anchorage!  When you think of Alaska, I guess your mind would go to wide open spaces because of new stories of the Iditarod "Last Great Race"or maybe the Northern Exposure TV series.

The truth is, when you think of Anchorage, think about a city just like any other.  It just has slightly different weather and either shorter or longer days depending of the season.

The price range of condominiums in Anchorage runs a range from about $150,000 for smaller condos to the high end executive style of townhome or condo that may sell for $500,000.

There are few "high-rise" type buildings like you would find in Seattle, Portland or Los Angeles.  There are a few, for sure, offering first floor parking and elevators, but the most common condominiums and townhomes in Anchorage, are "duplex" style properties.

In the more common duplex-style condominium properties a condo management company still manages theTypical Townhouse condominium-duplex style property so the owners have similar benefitsof "hassle-free" living.  A common monthly dues would be in the $225 range and would include public water, sewer, refuse, snow removal, landscaping and any common area electric.

If you want more information on Anchorage condominiums contact me and I'll get your specific information on what you are looking for.
