In preperation for the beautiful weather we have all been experiencing in Atlanta, the Positive Standards Committee of Heron Bay Golf and Country Club in Henry County hosted a Spring Landscaping Seminar earlier this month. Featuring Senerity Landscape Services, the seminar was full of usefull tips and tricks including the importance pf putting pre-emergent on your lawn by the end of march to prevent weeds throughout the upcoming months.
Other tips included maintaining the turf by spot spraying weeds. aerating every 2 to 3 years, edging along turf lines every 2 weeks and watering more than once a week. Because we've been having so much rain it's important to make sure to mow your lawn often as well. Once all of you spring flowers have bloomed this spring make sure to prune them to ensure that they will last throughout the summer and winter.
