I had always wondered how High Point, NC has fared since the big centers in Las Vegas were created for the furniture business.

Hi Kevin,

The Furniture market is still thriving in High Point. Twice a year "The Market" is a major boom to our economy. I heard that traffic was pretty strong during the October market and expectations seem to be positive for the April Market. So far, High Point is maintaining its' position as Furniture Capital of the World.

I am glad to hear that.  I spent nearly 4 years in Raleigh, 1 year in Charlotte, and 3 years in Wilmington (since I was in flim we called it Wily-wood). So i am glad to know NC and the Triad is doing well.
