The Lake Elsinore Storm baseball team's pre-season party was a huge success. It was held this year on Saturday March, 20. (The Storm is a Class A feeder team for the San Diego Padres.)
The annual event has become a favorite among the area's little league teams. In years past the "Party" was aimed a bit more toward the adult fans but this year marked the beginning of a concerted effort to make the event more family friendly.
One of the major attractions of the day is for the the fans to take batting practice on the diamond. Lots of other free things for the kids to do and of course the mascot Thunder was there to entertain the crowds.
