HELP!!  Is there anybody out there that can help me on putting an R symbol after the REALTOR? I got the accent codes for MacIntosh Intel processor but I still could not use the symbol R for the REALTOR even after following the instruction.  I have tried everything I could but still unsuccessful. I hope somebody out there knows how to do it. I would appreciate any help on this subject matter.  It has been bothering me that I cannot do it, other from that I love my MacIntosh.  The problem comes up because I am using Windows in a MacIntosh computer.

Anthon,  Thank you for the info, but I forgot to say that the problem I have is because I am using Windows in a MacIntosh computer.  That is where I cannot put the symbol, but I can do it in the Mac side.

I have tried that too and it still does not work.  I guess I am doom. Windows using the MacIntosh is probably not that easy but I still like my Mac.  Thanks anyway.

I finally found it.  So far the only way to do it is type in the word document and then copy and paste it on this page.  In the word document, you have to hold down ALT+CTRL+R to make the symbol. Anybody using MacIntosh for WINDOWS, this seems to be the only way unless someone knows better way than this.

Hi!

Have you tried "Option key" and the letter R, at the same time?

Taryn,

Yes, I have tried it and it does not work probably because I am on window side of Mac, using bootcamp.  I found out that you just have to go to the accessory from start and click for system tools and then character map. I appreciate all the help everybody is giving.  It is really very nice to have people helping each other.  I hope this information would help.  Thank you once again.

Hi Teresita,

Try this perhaps?  The registered trademark symbol    ALT+CTRL+R

I don't know what it is but the window side of Mac does not respond to this command. I just have to do it the long way, that's all.  Well, it seems like there is nothing much you can really do but to do it this way. I appreciate your help though.

Bob - your brother - remember me?

in bootcamp windows environment, go to start,  click on "run" (assuming you are using XP) type "charmap" then select the ascii character desired. you will see in the bottom right corner, ALT+0174 or U+00AE. now you can type in l33t...
