Last year, the 2009 Washington Park Home Tour raised over $32,000 to benefit the children. Washington Park is one of the oldest and most beloved of the Historic Neighborhoods of Denver. Many of the homes in Washington Park were built prior to 1940. There is a significant amount of new construction today in the Washington Park neighborhood. Older homes on double lots in Washington Park have been "scraped" and a new home is built in its place. You will often hear a home for sale in Washington Park being termed a "Scrape", this is where the term comes from. 5 homes will be on display for the 2010 Washington Park Home Tour.
