Just Like Having An Active Rain Listing App for iPhone

AR post on iPhoneJust Like Having An Active Rain Listing App for iPhone! I posted an Active Rain blog this weekend to promote a listing and the property website 2312LeeHwy.com to take advantage of Active Rain's Google juice.

Then checked how that post looked on my iPhone. It looked great - like it was made for mobile. Felt llike I had my own iPhone app to promote listings via AR ... and being new here had no idea how well it rendered on the mobile platform.

As you can see, had agent name and photo up top, a prominant button to call about ht e listing and a get direcitons link all in the upper quarter of the screen. Below that is the lead photo and then the description.

I haven't seen a metion here about AR and mobile.

Has anyone checked out AR posts on other mobile phones like Blackberry's or Android's? How does it look?

And what about a real iPhone app ... our MRIS doesn't work with Smarter Agent. Anything out there for a lone agent to use?

Keep pushing Smarter Agent -- it's great and they add areas when there's enough demand. In the meantime, I've seem mobile apps advertised on Realtor.com and Zillow.com. Trulia sent me a survey asking if I;d use it so they must be thinking about it. I've also seen some major newspapers advertising it, or maybe news channels?

I looked for an ActiveRain App and was suprised that AR doesn't have one out yet.

@Leslie thanks for the tips. Problem here is the MRIS. Won't allow SA in. Have looked at some others but wasn't too impressed. What solution are you using on that fine looking website?

Jon, my website is hosted by a company called Net Apects, go to netaspects.com. I feel like a second grader when I say "I built it myself". I used their template, they have about 120 color and styles. I tried to make it appear similar to our corporate site, www.bairdwarner.com. It was really hard to learn how to set stuff up in the beginning but I'm pretty happy I spent the time....I can build what I want over time rather than a canned out of the box thing from a consultant.

There should also be an app for BlackBerry too!  If this ever comes available, I definitely want to be first in line to try it out!
