What everyone is looking for is clean and clutter free home that's easy to navigate..  I'm sure everyone would agree less is more with staging your home for sale.  Paint get the home clean if you need carpet do it, you know the condition that you would be looking for.  Keep the home netural as you can.  Get the junk put it in the trunk and take it to the storage unit.  If your like me i love to park my car in the gargage.  Wow that's what the garage is for.  I can't believe where we live that people can't even open the garage door due to JUNK not to mention your don't have to clear your car off in the winter.  Move it out and clear it all out prior to putting your home on the market.  The biggest turn off is a buyer thinking that will they move all this junk out of the house after closing. When marketing your home to sell follow some simple advise and just do it.  You will be happy you did and when you do you add more to your bottom line.

I so agree.  I have a home which I am attempting to find a renter (not my normal lease option tenant/buyer) and it has so much staging furniture in it that I deliberately don't show it.

Hi Keith-

I can park the car there, but it's also filled with antiques and projects that my schedule just doesn't allow for!  When I put my home on the market though, it'll all be cleared out!
