Dawn - Great, inexpensive suggestions for making a home more appealing. In today's market, sellers must rise above the competition.

All great tips Dawn. I would add in: a fresh coat of paint on the front door. buyers spend extra time standing at the front door as an agent opens the lock box, they have time to look at any thing that seems like deferred maintenance... its the first impression and you need to make it a good one!

Good list, Dawn. Yep, fresh paint on the door and threshold goes a long way, too.

Dawn, that #4 got me laughing.  I had done just that a few years back and after a rainfall the other day found that I hadn't removed the protective plastic after it's installation.  Needless to say it's like having another new lockset and hardware now.  Too funny!
