No, that's not a typo. We had a B of A success story yesterday. We'll take the positive whenever we can get it!
We got an approval letter on one of our B of A short sales a few weeks ago. HOWEVER, the negotiator failed to get the upcoming foreclosure date pushed out. He said it was getting pushed out, but it didn't. The property ended up being foreclosed on. End of story? Nope!
Did you know that you can have a foreclosure unwound, especially if you have an approval letter on the table? Thank you to the Vice President at B of A who sat on the phone for 45 minutes to have the foreclosure undone. (We've had this happen before and watch closely to make sure the foreclosure date actually gets pushed out. It goes without saying that it's a bigger mess to have one unwound after it's been listed as an REO and has offers on it.
Back on track and closing in Phoenix, Arizona!
