It's amazing the work that Arvada Food bank does for our local community.  At the Arvada food bank they provide 900 children with items for their lunches the bag lunch program.  What a great service they do along with providing food for people in need when they don't have the means.  I urge everyone and i will twitter this to please drop off can and non perishable foods to the Arvada food bank.  They are located 8555 West 57th Ave. Arvada, CO 80002

Help your local food bank:

In November 2009 the New York Times reported that the number of Americans who lived in households that lacked consistent access to adequate food soared last year to 49 Million.  Children are particularly vulnerable.  According to the National Center for Children in Poverty, In 2008, 41 percent of all children lived in low-income families and nearly one in every five lived in poverty.

So Imagine skipping a meal--- even going the whole day with out food because you are afraid you might not have enough to feed your children until you get paid again.  Imagine yourself a child on a Friday eating your school lunch knowing that may be the last meal you have until Monday morning when you return to school.  Imagine a teacher watching children with a determination of the children heading for breakfast because they have not eaten all weekend.

If you are blessed in your life bless others with your good fortune and donate to help the Hungry.
