Residential agents leaping into commercial real estate! Sounds fun

By

I have seen a lot of residential real estate agents want to get into commercial real estate. I sell millions of dollars of residential real estate a year and I also sell commercial as well. I started by prospecting commercial business owners and doing leasing agreements in commercial spaces. Many residential real estate agents know very little about commercial real estate and I have seen them somewhat intimidated by it. One recommendation I have is that you google commercial real estate terms and ask how you are getting compensated for your time especially while representing a commercial tenant. Don't be afraid go for it. There is a big opportunity for you. Hope this helps a little to give you a kick start.

The market is tempting. Diversification can sometimes be a huge plus.

Billy, the commercial sector is great to get into. The deals tend to be bigger and starting with leasing is a good start.

Billy, Maybe you're right, I've been a little intimidated. Perhaps I'll have to reconsider.
