Since the before and after pics of 3535 Summitridge Drive were such a smashing success with my MCM friends I decided to put together a compilation of 3398 Lori Lane. This home has already been sold (sorry). But, you will be happy to know the owners are the coolest Modernists I know. They have taken this house to a whole new level with their DWR furniture and their one-of-a-kind folk art collection. Every time I invite myself over I am inspired. They are currently giving the landscaping an ultra modern make-over and adding slabs of travertine to the den. They have customized the lighting expanded the back splash to cover the entire rear wall. I’m hoping that once they are done with their final touches they will let me take some pictures to post on my blog. So here you go another MCM Renovation with all the right stuff. Enjoy!! That’s all for now friends, check back soon I’m hoping to have the even NEWER and improved versions of Lori Lane. Now wasn’t that fun?? Looking for that Atlanta Dream Home?? Wow! Great make over. Love the outside. Removing the bushes does make it look totally different.
All I can say is WOW. I mean what a difference between before and after. Did the seller do the updates prior to listing or did your buyer do these changes after the closing? I am always curious of who the visionary will be or was.
I really enjoyed your post.
Thanks Mike! It's amazing what a chain saw can do. Lynne: My investor bought it to fix up and sell. He also just finished this home: 3535 Summitridge Dr. I help him with all his design work and implementation... It's a dream come true and probably the most satisfying thing I have ever done, especially when it sells the first week it's listed : )
Great job. Those 60-70 type of dark wood homes are the toughest I think to update but you've done a great job. Good presentation.
Vanessa, Tell your Investor he did a Great Job.
Denver has Arapahoe Acres the first post-World War II residential subdivision listed as a historic district in the National Register of Historic Places.
Constructed between 1949 and 1957, it is a community of 124 unique, modern homes.
Jane, thanks for the share!! Super cool website. Makes me want to move to Denver!!
I can see why this was most satisfying to you!!! I'd love to have an investor like yours!! You two really make a GREAT team :) Karol
