I attended the East Parker County Chamber of Commerce Networking get together this morning at the Los Vaqueros Restaurant in Willow Park, Texas. It was attended by about 40 other business owners and members of 9 other Chambers around the Dallas, Fort Worth and Weatherford areas.
I was able to meeting and share Reata Realty with 10 other business people while gathering cards and information about their business. I gathered information about getting rid of Squirrels in a humane way from Glenn Carter. I hate these fury devils, I think they are rats in a better outfit. I'm sorry but I'm sticking to a 22 with bird shot instead of small jelly sandwiches and traps. I learned about Wind Generators from Loree long of Win-Gen Power and how the $15,000 tax credit works. Networked with Alan Jackson, not the Country Singer, but he is the owner of Handy Jack Commercial and residential remodeling through out Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas.
All in all it was well worth getting out of bed this morning at 5:30 am. to make the trip out to Willow Park.
After the East Parker County Chamber networking meeting I had the pleasure of meeting with one of the local Certified Master Builders, Sean Knight of Sean Knight Custom Homes at his office in Willow Park, Texas. We had a productive meeting which will turn into a win win for both of us.
If you are a business owner in the East Parker County area or in Fort Worth or Weatherford please consider joining the East Parker County Chamber. It has been very good for my business. I would like to invite you to join our networking Leads group which meets first and third Fridays at the Fire Oak Grill in downtown Weatherford, Texas at 11:45. I am the leader of this group and we share a 15 minute business overview from a different business at each meeting and send referrals to each other plus we have an outstanding lunch.
Happy Trails,
DK
