The Authors is a very nice community in Kernersville right off Union Cross Road. This neighborhood was carved out in the early 1990’s by Thomas Prince and his wife Helen. All homes can be no less than 80% brick and no more that 2 stories with an attic per the covenants on file at the Forsyth County Register of Deeds. The result is a very sharp looking neighborhood with we maintained homes. There is not a lot of turnover in The Authors and residents typically stay for a while when they purchase a home in this neighborhood.
Homes in The Authors have sold for as low as the upper $100’s and as high as the mid $300’s. The entire neighborhood was developed in 3 sections. It total The Authors is a very attractive neighborhood in Kernersville and has a very convenient location. The only downside might be that Union Cross Rd is becoming busier all the time! This can make getting in and out of the neighborhood a little slower, but not a huge problem.
