ActiveRain University: Hyper Local Blogging and How to Target the Buyer Most Likely to Buy Now

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with ActiveRain

(three posts in two days for me.....I don't know how some of you do it, you're like machines. I'm thoroughly impressed!!!)

Brad and I were going to do a webinar Thursday March 25th at 10am Pacific time and go through some ActiveRain basics. We just switched it up.

Thursday at ActiveRain University we are going to focus on my recently announced challenge (which by the way is worth 7000 points). If you haven't seen the challenge yet, get over and check it out. This is the stuff that can bring you business. Aren't we all here to get more business? (if you said no, don't bother clicking the link or continuing to read this post......in fact, wellnever mind, I should be nice.)

The challenge is designed to get you writing blog posts that attract buyers who are further along in the buying process than a traditional internet home searcher. How do you do this? By writing content aimed at someone who knows more precisely what it is they seek.

Tons of articles have been submitted already. Every time I open my email there are a few more. Not everyone is hitting the mark. I've been talking to people all day today giving them advice on how to make their posts more targeted and more effective. In Thursday'swebinar we are going to go over the concept of hyper-local. I will share with you our experience generating leads using hyper local content and how it brought us buyers further along in the buying process.

We will also go though and pick specific posts that have been submitted already and disect them. We'll take a look at some very good examples and we will also look at some examples that could use refining.

If you are looking for advice on your posts, this is where you can get it. It will be real time and interactive. We'll take as many questions as we can and go through as many examples as we can. If you are going to be around your computer Thursday at 10am Pacific time (March 25th) I suggest you join us.

If you can consistently write posts that get you buyers ready to go and who know exactly what they want, your life will be easier.

( Know of someone that could benefit from becoming a Rainmaker? They can get their first month of Rainmaker for $5 buy clicking here or you can send them to http://arpromo.com/rainmaker and then get them signed up for this webinar. They will thank you for it later)

I'm listing an expensive home about that time otherwise I would be on it. I can point to $30,000 in commission just from the last series you did last year. It was on short sales, and I dominated Google in important searches of 5 to 10 words.

Oye Vey another challenge!  I have been uninspired for a few months now (I really don't know what's wrong with me), maybe this will give me the kick in the pants I need!  UGH, I think the webinar is going on right now, but I have to go to a dentist appointment!

Everyone that attended, thank you!! I hope you learned something. Kerrie said i was rattling on at a rather rapid pace and wanted to know if I was hopped up on coffee. Yes, yes I was. But, it's also a lot of content to cover in an hour. If you have questions, please feel free to contact me.

Hi Bob -

I REALLY wanted to be at this webinar today but had a previous commitment. Like others have asked....was it recorded? Or will you be doing it again? Or can you write up a blog post hitting the high points? Or is there somewhere else we can get this info?

Thanks in advance for any insights/advice you can provide!

Coleen :)

We did record the webinar. We are working through the logistic of getting it online. Once we have it up, I will make sure to let everyone know. It most likely will not be until after we get all the proxy error issues under control (which we have 100% of our development resources geared toward)

Bob - I couldn't make it, but do hope that you will run it again, please!   I prefer live, since there are always extra comments and questions that make us learn new and different things....

Ah, that explains it.  I was wondering why I keep getting proxy errors, I thought it was something weird going on on my end...
