Woo Hooo! The Carnival Comes To Potomac Mills | Food And Fun For All

The carnival's in town!  This week at Potomac Mills Mall, bring the family for a day or evening of fun with lots of food, and thrilling rides at the carnival.

Carnival Ferris Wheel

What's a carnival without the big Ferris Wheel!  Round and round, to the top for fabulous views!

Carnival at Potomac Mills

And this is the view from the top! I was very impressed with this carnival, they had lots of rides for the kids, and tonight the lines were't too long.

It's always cool to go to the carnival at night so that you can see all of the bright lights!!!

Fried Oreos

Ok, I have to admit, I have never tried FRIED OREOS!!!  And I was still too chicken to try them here at the carnival.  Seems like a stomachache just waiting to happen :-)  Thanks but no thanks!  Have you ever tried Fried Oreos?

Carnival at Potomac Mills

Ahhh, familiar fixins!  You definitely have to have a strong stomach to be able to enjoy the carnival food.  I passed on this as well, but a Philly Style Cheesesteak sure did sound good.  There's still time, maybe I'll head back and leave room for one next time!

Pam, it was a good time.  I made the mistake of getting on one of the rides that spins you around, and it took me a few minutes to get my bearings...I'm getting way too old for these rides!

I can almost feel the calories turning to lard on my body from the funnel cakes and Italian sausage. . .LOL  What is it about carnival food that makes one feel like a kid again!  I really like the top photo of the Ferris Wheel.

I agree Tamara - night time is the BEST time for a carnival! Remember how fun it was as a kid to be out on a warm night with all those sights and sounds?

Mryl:  All I could think about was how many sit-ups I'd have to do if I tried a Fried Oreo...all the motivation I needed :-)

Debi: My kids sure did have fun, I think they enjoyed hearing me scream on the rides!

John: There's nothing like the view from the top, really cool, great way to see all of the rides in full swing at once.
