Sammamish Neighborhoods, Heritage Hills

Heritage Hills is a community of nicer homes located on the north end of Sammamish, in the Lake Washington School District.  Approximately 230 beautiful homes built primarily between 1980 and 1990 with such builders as Swanson Dean, Quadrant, Conner and Buchan.  Heritage Hills homes are stately, roomy and exemplify quality construction.  Originally called Sahalee Hills, the name was changed to provide the Sahalee Golf & Country Club its unique identity.

Homes in Heritage Hills are highly desirable and are currently priced between $500,000 and $750,000.  They average around 2500 square feet in size with 3-5 bedrooms and usually 2.5 baths or more.  They are not cookie cutter homes, but offer unique designs from the various builders and architects involved.

Park with Pool

Heritage Hills offers more than just nice homes.  The Heritage Hills Park includes a pool open during the summer months, a cabana, built in barbeques, large climbing structure with slide, swings, tennis and basket ball courts and a soccer field.  The park is over 6 acres in size.  This is a popular destination for the many families in the neighborhood as they walk home from the local elementary school, Margaret Mead

Heritage Hills events are listed on the Home Owner's Association website.  Some upcoming opportunities are the Easter Egg Hunt, Annual Garage Sale and National Night Out.  Little Toy

Speaking of Redmond, Microsoft's main campus is about 20 minutes away.  If you'd rather not drive yourself, the Microsoft Commuter can pick you up from the parking lot behind local Safeway.Big Toy  Downtown Seattle is about 30-40 minutes away by car or express transit.

The Heritage Hills neighborhood in Sammamish offers a great sense of community is convenient and features quality built homes.
