April
2nd - World Autism Awareness Day
For those of us who know someone touched by autism, it means a lot to
see the world come together in support and learning. My
oldest son is Autistic and I live with the effects of autism
daily. I have many friends with autistic children as well, and
see many families affected. It's an interesting
diagnosis and children with autism are alternately super frustrating
and awesomely sweet. My little Emerson is the most adorably
frustrating kid I know. I love him to pieces!
Help us all out on Friday, April 2nd -
by lighting the world BLUE for Autism Awareness. Blue
shirts, blue pants, blue light specials - whatever you can do to help
show your support! Even the Empire State Building is getting in
the act and lighting up blue on Thursday night in support!

Thanks for the reminder...my cousin's child is also autistic, and I understand the demands on the family life.
