Turquoise is Hot! "TAKE TWO!"

This is my second attempt to post this blog. Although,  my computer auto saves with out my asking it too, I haven't figured out where it gets saved to!   And that is all I am going to admit to right now.  However this being the great post that it is I persist....

Turquoise is "IN" at least according to the online article on "Realtor.Org"  and they must be right, of course, because I  have a turquoise spread on this staged Master Bedroom.  Interior home design colors follow fashion trends, it seems and turquoise is showing up everywhere.  In any case, turquoise is close to being a more neutral color.  Lots of ladies and men look fine in a little turquoise.  Now, no need to paint all the walls turquoise, in staging, the best way to add a pop or splash of color is with bed linens, pillows, or fabric, or other small decor.

Here is that Master Room where the turquoise and black contrast make the bed pop as the focal point:

This is where I lost the first post.  So it is one photo per post today.  My computer is cranky and the operator probably crankier!!!!

It was a big color in the early 1960's too. My parents had a 1960 Ford Galaxie that color. Their bathroom fixtures at the farm were and still are that color too.

Andrew,  You are so right,  Color trends do cycle around. When I was growing up ...  hmm that would have been the 60's, too I believe,  a friend's living room had both an tangerine colored chair and a deep turquoise chair.  I always t hought the room was striking, but just a little odd, too!!

Beverly, well, turquoise certainly does beat some of the browns and mustard yellows that I'm seeing more of these days!

Oh, mustard yellow is for hot  dogs,  or maybe would be okay out on the patio.

I had an owner who had a bright yellow metal patio set that looked great on the patio when the house was for sale.
