Market in a slump? Buyer's market got you down? Interest rates hurting your sales? Too much competition in your market for too few buyers? And the list goes on and on...
I propose this. You are afraid to succeed. You are working the hours, but you are prepared for and expect failure.
Inorder to correct your actions to produce the successful results you wish to see you must first identify the "losses" that you are creating. Lost listings, lost offers, lost buyers, lost referrals...whatever they may be.
Next you must figure out what actions of yours are creating those lost opportunities. Perhaps it's not always having a business card to hand out. Maybe it's not having a prospecting system and sticking to it.
Then you must figure out what you can do to change the dysfunctional action to create a win instead of a loss. Example: have extra business cards, be organized with a prospecting system etc. Then understand how hopeless the dysfunctional action is and how desireable the functional one is.
Practice the winning activities and actions daily. Work on constantly identifying the lossing activities and create better and more efficient winning systems. Take some quiet time every day (meditate, etc) to think about what you are doing right and wrong during the day. Be quick to identify losing situations as well as winning situations. Eliminate all of those losing actions and always create new winning ones and then you will be the success that you want to be.
