Water in Phoenix? Value of a ‘cooled' drinking fountain at light rail stations

So, what's in a water fountain feature? Not a big deal you say? Well think and say again. When it is 115 or 120 degrees outside, and the pavement is melting, or better yet, people are frying eggs on the sidewalk, you will realize the value in a ‘cold' swallow of water to keep hydrated.

Phoenix Metro light rail planned and built in drinking fountains with a cooler. You don't have to worry about standing and waiting for the next train in the heat and think you are out of water any longer. Help is now available! The paramedics are also probably happy they will have fewer calls from heat dehydration. And, the homeless and less advantaged population will benefit from it too. Homeless you say? Don't forget there are women and children who are also homeless in all States and cities.

So the next time you take a drink of water, think what it would be like to drink water that is heated to 115-120 degrees, or a nice, refreshing drink to cool your jets and systems down.

I think about it.
